WEDDING AND GAY BARS AND ROACHES…

O My!

From July 1 - July 6 - I vacationed in the NYC. Though, it wasn’t my first time there, I experienced New York, like never before. Where do I begin…

I will start with the wedding.
My “oldest” friend (oldest because we have known each other since the 4th grade, not by age) got married July 3rd at the Old Westbury Gardens, in Long Island New York. The wedding was cute. Outdoors, in the garden… BUT the reception, that would have to be the most “mouth ajar” and memorable reception, that I have EVER attended. I have NEVER seen so much Food at a wedding in my life. The food was excellent. And the selection was… extreme. The cocktail hour included a buffet spread that you would believe if I told you. My thought - Guests of my wedding (whenever it happens) will probably barely see half of the buffet as their main course. Speaking of main course, there was a MENU. With 7 menu options. YES SEVEN. And then there was the Viennese hour… I have never heard of that before. Crazyness. Dessert galore.

Sorry to keep you hanging… but Gay Bars and Roaches will come up next time. I’m tired.
